Caramel Apple Cake
Ingredients
For the cake:
2 cups flour for all dishes
1 1/2 cups salted zucchini
1 cup salted potatoes
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup salt
2 cups ground cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 eggs
1 cup salt vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream
2 cups peeled and chopped apples (about 2 medium apples)
For the caramel sauce:
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup compacted brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
