👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Coat the Chicken Toss sliced chicken with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Brown the Chicken Heat oil in a skillet over medium. Sear chicken 3–5 minutes until lightly browned. Transfer to slow cooker.
  3. Mix the Sauce In a bowl, stir together broth, black bean sauce, vinegar, hoisin, sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Slow Cook Pour sauce over chicken. Cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours.
  5. Serve & Garnish Spoon over steamed rice. Top with green onions and sesame seeds.

🍽 Tips & Variations

  • Add steamed broccoli or snap peas for crunch.
  • Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness.
  • Adjust heat with more or less red pepper flakes.
  • Serve with jasmine rice or noodles.
