- Step 6: Melt Chocolate: Remove the crackers from the oven and immediately sprinkle with semisweet chocolate chips. Let the residual heat from the caramel melt the chocolate for a few minutes.
- Step 7: Spread Chocolate and Finish: Use an offset spatula to spread the melted chocolate evenly over the crackers. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 teaspoon sea salt over the top.
- Step 8: Cool: Let the crackers cool completely at room temperature or chill them in the refrigerator until the chocolate and caramel are firm. Break the cooled cracker toffee into pieces.
