- Boil Carrots Slice carrots into ¼-inch rounds. Boil for 5–7 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
- Make the Glaze Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar until smooth. Add salt, pepper, and optional cinnamon, nutmeg, or orange juice.
- Glaze the Carrots Add cooked carrots to the skillet. Toss to coat. Cook for 2–3 minutes until glaze thickens and clings to the carrots.
- Serve Warm Plate and serve immediately. These are especially delicious with roasted meats, holiday mains, or even as a snack.
