Strawberries & Cream Lemonade

Instructions:

  1. Puree Strawberries: In a blender or food processor, puree the fresh strawberries until smooth. For a smoother drink, strain the puree through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds.

  2. Combine Base: Add the ice to a half-gallon pitcher. Pour in the lemon juice, strawberry puree, sweetened condensed milk, and salt. Stir vigorously with a large spoon for about one minute, until the mixture is smooth and the condensed milk is fully incorporated.

  3. Dilute: Pour in 5 cups of cold water and stir well. Taste and add the remaining cup of water if you prefer a less sweet drink.

  4. Serve: Pour into glasses over ice. Garnish with lemon slices and a spoonful of mashed strawberries, if desired.
