Spicy Teriyaki Grilled Steak Kebabs

Tender, marinated steak and colorful grilled vegetables are skewered and glazed with a sweet, spicy, and homemade teriyaki sauce for a show-stopping summer meal.

Ingredients

For the Kebabs:

  • 2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1 ½-inch cubes

  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1 ½-inch pieces

  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1 ½-inch pieces

  • 1 large onion, cut into 1 ½-inch pieces

  • 3-4 zucchini, cut into 1-inch slices

  • 3 cups fresh pineapple, cut into 1-inch chunks

  • 8-10 wooden or metal skewers

  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

For the Marinade & Glaze:

  • 1 cup soy sauce

  • ½ cup rice wine vinegar

  • ⅔ cup water

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or more to taste)

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
