Quark-Muffins

Instructions

  1. Prepare for Baking: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) using the top/bottom heat setting. Line a muffin tin with paper cases.

  2. Mix the Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk the quark and vanilla pudding powder together until the mixture is completely smooth and free of lumps.

  3. Combine the Dry Ingredients: In a separate, medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and baking powder. This ensures the leavening is evenly distributed.

  4. Form the Base Batter: To the dry ingredients, add the eggs, milk, and melted butter. Stir with a spatula or whisk just until the ingredients are combined and a thick batter forms. Be careful not to overmix.

  5. Incorporate the Quark: Gently fold the smooth quark and vanilla mixture into the base batter. Mix only until the two are fully blended and no streaks remain.

  6. Fill the Muffin Tin: Divide the batter evenly among the prepared paper cases, filling each one about two-thirds full. This allows space for the muffins to rise beautifully without overflowing.

  7. Bake: Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  8. Cool and Serve: Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5-10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. They are absolutely delicious served warm. Enjoy
