Philly Cheese Steak Casserole

Instructions

  1. Prep & Preheat: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×9 inch baking dish and set aside.

  2. Cook the Filling: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. When the beef is about halfway cooked, add the chopped bell pepper and onion. Continue cooking until the beef is fully browned and the vegetables have softened, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. Season: Stir in the minced garlic and seasoned salt, and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.

  4. Assemble the Casserole: Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it into an even layer. Arrange the slices of provolone cheese evenly over the top.

  5. Make the Egg Mixture: In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy whipping cream, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined. Carefully pour this mixture over the cheese and meat layers.

  6. Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is completely set.

  7. Serve: Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
