Illusion is the result of a faulty processing mechanism in the visual system, which transmits stimuli from the eye to the brain. Therefore, through incorrect analysis, it’s possible to see an object that doesn’t exist in the image, and even to fail to notice an object that is already present. Our eyes and brain are thus put to the test, but will we be able to see more than we’d like?
