Step-by-Step Instructions:
In a small bowl, mix the warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Pour in the yeast mixture and melted butter. Mix and then knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. Heat oil in a pan and cook the ground meat and chopped onion until the meat is browned and the onion is soft. Season with salt and pepper. Let the mixture cool slightly, then stir in the shredded cheese.
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it into a large circle on a floured surface. Spoon the meat filling into the center.
Gather the edges of the dough up and over the filling, pinching them together to seal the bread completely. Place the bread, seam side down, on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
