Some puzzles have a way of stopping us in our tracks. They make us pause, tilt our heads, and wonder if the rules of logic we’ve trusted all our lives have just been turned upside down. One such puzzle, often referred to as the 1975 riddle, continues to delight, confuse, and challenge people of all ages.

The mind immediately rejects the statement. How could that be? How can someone live for 22 years if both birth and death occurred in the same year? The riddle seems to defy the very flow of time. And that, of course, is the beauty of it.
