Early Life and Education
Bill Clinton was born on August 19, 1946, in Hope, Arkansas. His full name is William Jefferson Clinton. He was raised mostly by his mother and grandparents. Life was not always easy for him, but he worked hard and focused on his education.
Entering Politics
After finishing school, Bill Clinton returned to Arkansas. He wanted to help people and improve his state. In 1976, he was elected Attorney General of Arkansas. Just two years later, he became one of the youngest governors in U.S. history.
As governor, Clinton focused on education reform, economic growth, and improving public services. Even though he lost re-election once, he came back stronger and served multiple terms. His success in Arkansas helped him gain national attention.
