Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crust: Bake the frozen pie crust according to the package directions. Once baked, set it aside on a wire rack to cool completely.

  2. Make the Glaze: In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar and cornstarch. Gradually whisk in the water until the mixture is smooth.

  3. Cook the Glaze: Place the saucepan over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Once it boils, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, continuing to stir, until the mixture has thickened and become clear.

  4. Finish the Glaze: Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the strawberry jelly until it is fully melted and the mixture is smooth. Set the glaze aside to cool slightly.

  5. Assemble the Pie: Arrange the sliced strawberries in the cooled pie crust. Pour the warm glaze evenly over the strawberries, making sure to coat them all.

  6. Chill and Set: Refrigerate the pie for at least 3-4 hours, or until the glaze is completely firm. Slice and serve chilled.
