This incredibly easy cake tastes just like the classic Mounds candy bar—a rich, moist chocolate cake topped with a layer of gooey, sweet coconut.

Ingredients

For the Cake:

For the Chocolate Layer:

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

For the Coconut Topping:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 bag (14 oz) sweetened shredded coconut

  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
