Alpine Almond Cake

For the Cake:

  • 2 large eggs, room temperature

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • ½ teaspoon almond extract

  • ½ cup whole milk, room temperature

For the Frosting & Assembly:

  • 7 ounces white chocolate, finely chopped

  • 1 ⅓ cups heavy cream, divided

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract

  • ½ cup sliced almonds, for garnish
